I lived in Colorado for about 5 years in the Denver area, and recently moved back to California. I want to compliment and praise the Library system and all the librarians, administrators and workers within the DPL for making it a first-rate library system. Stepping away from DPL really opened my eyes and makes me realize what an organized, sincere, and dedicated system DPL is in serving the public. I only hope that the LAPL system would be as commendable someday. Please continue to do what you are doing to maintain the high standards of the DPL system. Thank you for a wonderful 5 years.

I am new to your library and new to your online selection of audio eBooks. I love it! Great job on the interface - it's easy to browse for, select, and download media. I've been at other library's in other states recently and haven't found anything quite so cutting edge as this. Thank you for all the effort and time you've put into making your library's technology so perfect for your patrons.

I just wanted to comment on the live news feed portion of your homepage. I think it is a great feature! I may consider adding a similar feature on our library's homepage. I am a reference librarian at a small public library in MA, and check out your site often to see what types of features/content you have on your web site in order to get ideas for ours. You have a great web site, and are a wonderful resource for other libraries!
Just wanted to send a hearty THANK YOU and tell you how much I appreciate the online research service. I had need this week of a 1986 National Geographic article, which the folks at Central located and forwarded to my neighborhood branch (Woodbury). I have also gotten important information and assistance in the past with the live research librarian service. I sometimes wish to leave the city, but it would be very hard to leave DPL. Thanks again.

I want to let you know that you have an excellent employee at Central Library in the Government Documents section. I requested information on a Right of Way Report by the Committee on Government Operations. It was a difficult report to find, but he called back quickly with information on where to get it. In a time when customer service is hard to get in most businesses, he was friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional.
I just wanted to tell you all thank you for all of your hard work. My husband and I primarily use the Hadley Branch, where everyone is always smiling, courteous, and helpful. We often order stuff via Interlibrary Loan, so I want to thank them as well. Thank you all to a job well done. It is appreciated!

I want to tell you that not a day goes by that I don't appreciate and use the Denver Public Library system. I check my holds online, browse books I read about in newspaper/magazine reviews, and at least once a week visit a branch library for children's books to keep my kindergarten classroom alive with new material for my Colorado Preschool Project classroom. I LOVE the library! I am so pleased to live in Denver, where the library is truly the best in the world, and that is the absolute truth. From this web site to the stacks in the branches, your terrific work is very much appreciated and I wanted to let you know that. Oh yes, and I also wanted to thank you because whenever I recommend a book to add to the collection--it is added. Your willingness to add diverse titles to satisfy my unique curiosities is very much appreciated.
Thank you, thank you for extending the hold period to seven days again. We come to town once a week and, more often than not, one or two requested items haven't arrived yet. The staff at Bear Valley is always willing to extend our hold if I remember to call, but sometimes I forget to do that. Truly, home schooling would be virtually impossible without the transfer of books to one easily-accessible location. Thank you again for the great work! The DPL staff are our heroes!!!
I have recently rediscovered the library, and I love this web site...especially the ability to search on my favorite books then place them on hold. I do not miss the card catalog. :) Thank you!
