Are You Ready for The Hunger Games?
Teens and adults alike have been captivated by Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy. If you haven't had enough of the Hunger Games books, and want more books with similar themes, check out the If You Like The Hunger Games page on DPL's Teen Website, eVolver! I recently did a poll of my colleagues who enjoyed The Hunger Games for their ULTIMATE Hunger Games read-a-like. These books may feature dystopian worlds with teens fighting back, a strong female protagonist, action, social commentary, a love triangle, or some combination of all of these elements. Whatever your reason for loving The Hunger Games, you'll probably enjoy (at least some of!) these books, too!
Divergent, Veronica Roth (the 2nd book, Insurgent, is coming soon!)--This one got the most votes by far!
The Maze Runner trilogy, James Dashner
Unwind, Neal Shusterman
The Uglies series, Scott Westerfeld
Mortal Engines, Philip Reeve

Blood Red Road, Moira Young
