Dr. Kedrowski will talk about his experiences climbing each of Colorado's 55 14,000 foot mountains and about his experience climbing Mount Everest in May 2012, during the week of the 2nd deadliest storm in Everest history. Join him at Schlessman on Wednesday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m. or at Ross-Cherry Creek on Saturday, May 4 at 10 a.m.
Anne Williams presents The Legend of Kid Curry at Schlessman on Sunday, May 5 at 2 p.m. Williams' great grandfather was a rancher who helped take down the legendary outlaw, who was a cohort of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Learn the story of his capture!
National award winning author BK Loren joins us on Monday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Schlessman. She'll talk about her novel Theft and her recent book of essays, Animal, Mineral, Radical. She'll talk about crossovers and differences in writing fiction and nonfiction and lead an open discussion with the audience. Loren's readings have been called "wildly refreshing, heartbreaking, and hilarious, but always full of heart."
