Save the Date: The Wizard of Oz is blowing into town

Friday, August 29. It'll arrive like a twister, fall from the sky like a sepia-tinted house, and be gone like an old hot air balloon before you even know it. So mark the date on your calendar for The Denver Public Library's presentation of The Wizard of Oz -- a celebration of the 75th anniversary of this most beloved film of the last century.

We're projecting this incredible Technicolor wonder on the side of our building so that even the Wicked Witch can see it on a fly by. Join us at just before sunset; we’ll have seating for you or you can bring cushions or blankets if you want to. See this magical film on its 75th anniversary! In the event of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled. 102 minutes. Rated PG.
