Crafting and Caroling!

We have some great events coming up this week for Adult Branch Programming.  Join us for crafts, cooking and more!

On Friday, December 13th at 2 p.m. visit Bear Valley Branch Library for our Tissue Paper Mosaic Candleholder craft.  Light up the night and decorate your house at the same time with a wonderful and colorful glass candleholder.  Call 720-865-0975 to reserve your spot.

If you would rather try your hand at Decorative Painting, drop by Ross-University Hills on Saturday, December 14th at 2 p.m.  Learn the basics and take home your first project. All supplies provided.  Please call 720-865-0955 to reserve your space.

Please join us at Sam Gary Branch Library on Sunday, December 15, at 2 p.m. for a Holiday Open House with refreshments and caroling. Get into the festive feeling of the holiday season with the "What the Dickens!?" carolers, adorned in elegant Victorian attire, presenting traditional carols and contemporary holiday favorites, all in beautiful, four-part harmony.

Don’t miss your chance to get into the holiday spirit through this presentation by the Denver Center Theater Company of Designing the Christmas Classic:  A Christmas Carol. A DCTC artisan will talk about the process of designing and creating costumes for A Christmas Carol. Join us on Wednesday, December 18th at 6 p.m. at the Ross-Cherry Creek Branch.  This discussion is part of the DCPA’s CONNECT program. To learn more about these free discussions and events visit www.denvercenter.org/CONNECT.
