Crafts, Books, and Courts--and It's Not Even the Weekend Yet!

So many things to do, and that's not even counting all the great events this weekend! Fresh City Life My Branch has something for YOU this week!

If you're itching to see flowers growing in your yard, make it happen! Get a bit messy with Throw & Sow Seed Balls, Wednesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. at the Smiley Branch!

And, while you're thinking of crafts, sign up NOW for this weekend's Fused Glass Pendant Class, Saturday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at Smiley. 720-865-0260 or fclmybranch@denverlibrary.org.

If books are your thing, join us at Ross-Cherry Creek for the Between the Covers Book Group on Tuesday, May 15 at 2 p.m. This month's title is Great House by Nicole Krauss.

The Our Courts Series continues on Wednesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. at Ross-Cherry Creek with See You in Court: The Life of a Civil Lawsuit. Learn the purpose of civil lawsuits, a party's rights and remedies, how they are commenced and how they proceed, what happens at trial, and the roles of the judge, jury, and lawyers in these suits. Look for a description of the whole series here.

If that isn't enough to keep your mind entertained and informed, look forward to the weekend, with Public Speaking, the Geeks Who Read Book Club, What We Do at the Denver Zoo, and A Short History of Money! See the complete listing of Fresh City Life My Branch adult cultural programming here.
