Coffee and Chocolate Tasting at our Anti-Valentine's Day Party
Last night was pretty fantastic here at Fresh City Life. We rechristened our partnership with Curious Theatre Company through Voices From the Front Lines -- a staged reading of works written by military veterans of contemporary wars. Several of the pieces had been written through a special program sponsored by Lighthouse Writers Workshop. There were tears and even laughter -- and our audience was rapt!
Our next event leans heavily toward frivolity: an Anti-Valentine's Day Party on February 14. Hope you can join us to celebrate the most meaningless of holidays in a very meaningful way -- with chocolate and murder. The mad scientists from Chocolate Lab will be here to guide a chocolate tasting with coffee provided by our friends at Whole Foods Market.
The night gets even sweeter when we roast Cupid with a staged reading of a Law and Order script written by Gina Gionfriddo -- who also wrote the blind date comedy thriller, Becky Shaw, which debuts at Curious on March 10. You can sign up to participate in this staged reading or enjoy the show with a good cup of coffee.
To top it all off, Curious Theatre Company will give away two tickets to Becky Shaw for one lucky audience member! You'll never think of Valentine's Day the same way again. To register or for more info.
