Digital Magazines Available at DPL!

Zinio digital Magazines

Zinio for libraries offers full digital copies of your favorite magazines to view on your computer or mobile device. We have subscriptions to over 200 popular and specialty magazines. Your DPL library card will give you unlimited access to this entire collection. Best of all, titles do not have to be returned and do not expire.

Quick start guide for first time users:

Please note you must create two accounts, a DPL Zinio account to browse the Library collection, and a account to view the magazines on your computer or mobile device:

  1. Go to the Denver Public Library Zinio page (
  2. First time users select "Create Account." Enter your library card number then click “Validate.”
  3. Create a DPL Zinio account with an email address and a password. An activation link will be sent to your email address.
  4. Follow the activation link to confirm your account. Once your account is activated you can browse and check out Library content.
  5. Click on the magazine(s) you would like to check out.
  6. You will then be asked to create a free account to view your magazines. Tip: use the same email address for both accounts.
  7. Your magazines will now be in "My Library" in your Zinio account and can be downloaded to your computer or mobile device.

Zinio Apps are available for the following devices: PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire and Blackberry Playbook.
Note: Zinio apps are not available for the NOOK Color or Tablet. Barnes & Noble does not allow the Zinio app to be downloaded from their app store. Zinio may be accessible through the NOOK browser depending on the memory of your NOOK.

But the magazines aren't free, right? It's like a regular digital subscription...?

The Library pays for the subscriptions, but they are free for everyone with a library card to use!

You guys amaze me

Really enjoying this! I've played with it on a desktop computer, iPad and Nexus 7 and it's lovely on all of them although I do prefer the tablet experience a little more. And! it looks like it automatically gives you the next months issues when they are available. Sweet!
