2 p.m. Hand Sewn Owl at the Ross-University Hills Branch Library: Use basic stitches to make this cute owl of your very own. All materials provided. Please register: 720-865-0955 or fclmybranch@denverlibrary.org.
2 p.m. Scratch Cooking at the Smiley Branch Library: Learn how to make simple and inexpensive meals using good old fashioned basic ingredients. Crepes are not as intimidating as they sound! Craft your very own corn dogs from ingredients that YOU select! Learn this and more!
2 p.m. The Butterfly Pavilion Comes to YOU! at the Schlessman Family Branch Library: staff from The Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster will present a fascinating slide show full of fun animal facts! Learn all about their residents, including insects, spiders, and their diverse relatives as you take a virtual walk through the Pavilion.
The fun doesn't end when the weekend's over--make sure to mark your calendar for Monday, September 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Schlessman to hear legendary concert promoter Barry Fey discuss his memoir Backstage Past as part of our Colorado Authors Series. Fey has met and worked with some of the biggest names in rock history--hear his stories!
