Isn't it confusing Buying Your First Guitar? But there's never been a better time to do so! Join us on Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sam Gary Branch and learn everything you need to know before purchasing a guitar for yourself or your child. Terminology, pricing, tips for buying online, and what affordable, quality options are out there!

Ready to learn more about world music? Denver World Music Studio presents From Argentina to Zimbabwe: Introduction to World Music on Monday, May 20 at 6 p.m. at the Schlessman Family Branch. You'll get to participate while you learn--play a flute, sing a song, clap out a rhythm! Take a musical journey and learn about geography and culture as you go. This class will also be offered at the Ross-Broadway Branch on Saturday, June 8 at 2 p.m. The Broadway session requires registration: 720-865-0135 or fclmybranch@denverlibrary.org.

Plan ahead to June to see Jerry Barlow in concert at the Schlessman Family Branch on Sunday, June 9 at 2 p.m. Barlow is an acclaimed Celtic fingerstyle guitarist, and a world-class storyteller! Enjoy his mix of traditional music from the British isles and his own compositions.
