Microfinance explained. Let's have a Kiki! (also, kiki explained)
It's good to do good. It's good to meet new people, hang out and listen to music, and sample excellent local beers. It's a kiki when all of those things converge for one amazing night.
Micro Brews for Microfinance
Saturday, March 23, 6-10 p.m.
McNichols Building at Civic Center Park, 144 W. Colfax Avenue, Denver 80202
Join our friends at Whole Foods Market and the Denver Beer Co. for a party to help alleviate poverty around the world! The beer tasting will feature the Denver Beer Co., with their limited edition “Pineapple Micro Brew," as well as other Micro Breweries: Odell Brewing Co., Crazy Mountain Brewery, Downslope Distilling, and more! There'll be live music by DJ Flash Gordon and delicious appetizers, too. Fresh City Life will be on hand to demonstrate finger-knitting and to supply some fun SWAG. Entry fee is $15 in advance, $20 at the door (cash only, 21 and up). 100% of all the proceeds will benefit the Whole Planet Foundation which empowers the poor by giving them resources to start their own businesses and move out of poverty. Fresh brews, great eats, live music AND good karma? Doesn't get any better.
Buy tickets in advance.
