Our Concert Season Finale: Julian Toha's Immersion Tour at Denver Public Library
Julian Toha: Immersion Tour
Tuesday, November 5, 7-8 p.m.
Central Library, Level 7 Vida Ellison Gallery
Since his Infinite Potential concert tour in 2012, Julian Toha has been hailed as one of the most exciting new artists of the 21st century. Denver Public Library is proud to play host to Toha for his latest concert series – Immersion. The fusion of visual arts and conceptual music intersect with technology in a concert designed with the arc of storytelling without narrative. Toha’s Immersion is a continuous or through-composed performance which takes his audiences on an artistic journey, using the arts and music to challenge the audience emotionally and mentally and using the wonders of technology to create a sense of awe.
Pianist Julian Toha and his team of artists, bring a musical and visual journey focusing on the 6 emotions: Love, Hate, Happiness, Sorrow, Fear and Hope. The piano and orchestral music includes classic masterpieces as well as new discoveries. Visuals include films of dancers, artists and actors who share their talents along with the inspirational music. Come to listen and see a story which we can all find a part of ourselves.
This is a free event, seating is limited. Check out the teaser video below for Julian's 2013 tour to sample his concert - and don't miss this unique, musical event.
