CONNECTING VECINOS

CONNECTING VECINOS
La Alma/Lincoln Park & Baker Historic Neighborhoods, Art District on Santa Fe

We at the Byers Branch Library invite you to come get to know the creative talent in our neighborhood!

CONNECTING VECINOS collaborates with people and resources from the communities that Byers Library serves to provide original programs such as art-workshops, dance performances, poetry readings, and other innovative projects.

The concept for CONNECTING VECINOS  is inspired by Byers Library's motto: “Small library, big world… we will get you there.” CONNECTING VECINOS is a platform for people to share their artistic skills and creative expression with their neighbors (vecinos). This provides library customers opportunities to experience and discover visionary resources available in their neighborhood.
