Start the New Year off Right with Adult Programming!

We have a multitude of interesting programs coming up this week. If you like crafts, writing or cooking you will want to be sure to visit us. A reminder--please call in advance to sign up for all of the following writing and craft programs!

We have a lot of options for you on Saturday, January 11. At
10 a.m. Barb Lundy, a Colorado author, will be at Ross-University Hills for a poetry program. ​Poetry Tells Life Stories helps us ​bring our view of the world, language and our experiences ​to life​ through the art of poetry.​ There will be writing and sharing as well as information about the publishing process.

Crafting and Caroling!

We have some great events coming up this week for Adult Branch Programming.  Join us for crafts, cooking and more!

On Friday, December 13th at 2 p.m. visit Bear Valley Branch Library for our Tissue Paper Mosaic Candleholder craft.  Light up the night and decorate your house at the same time with a wonderful and colorful glass candleholder.  Call 720-865-0975 to reserve your spot.

Bridges to Heaven

Everyone at Fresh City Life My Branch hopes you have a wonderful holiday weekend. Once your big meal is done, please consider one of these great programs.

On Tuesday, December 3 at 6 p.m., join us at Ross-University Hills for a fascinating author event. Sue Frederick, author of Bridges to Heaven: True Stories of Loved Ones on the Other Side, believes that death is not the end and that our deceased loved ones are watching us and helping us.

This weekend we have a variety of fun programs at three great branches! If you loves games, crafts and films...we have a program for you.

Be sure to visit Bear Valley on Friday, November 22 at 4 p.m. to try your luck at Bingo. This is a fun program that is open to adults as well as kids of all ages. Win prizes like snacks and gift cards!

We have three author’s coming to our branches this weekend...It’s an author extravaganza!

On Saturday, November 16, veteran sports writer Mark Kiszla discusses his new book, No Plan B: Peyton Manning’s Comeback with the Denver Broncos.  The book follows Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning from training camp through the regular season as he stages one of the most hyped comebacks in National Football League history.  Join us at Schlessman Family Branch at 11 a.m.

First up, on Saturday, June 23 at 11 a.m. we will have a representative from the Dumb Friends League at the Schlessman Family Branch Library teaching about animals' body postures and vocalizations and the messages behind them.  Get ready to learn more about your pet!

Have you been wanting to learn more about opera or trying to figure out how to better use your new eReader? If so we have those programs and more coming up next week through Fresh City Life My Branch!

Did you receive a Kindle or a Nook for Father's Day? Have you been waiting for a time to try and figure out how to put library books on your eReader? Drop in on Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. for our Tech Open House at Ross-University Hills to learn how to load library books on your device as well as any other questions you might have.
