Valdez-Perry to Reopen May 18
The Valdez-Perry Branch Library will reopen on Friday, May 18, 2012 upon completion of Better Denver Bond Program renovations.

Branch Libraries Under Renovation
Valdez-Perry Branch Library

Newly Constructed Branch Libraries - Now Open
Green Valley Ranch Branch Library
The Green Valley Ranch Branch Library opened to the public on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, with a community-wide celebration on Saturday, March 12. The new branch is a library of the twenty-first century, incorporating the latest in library technology. It was constructed using environmentally friendly materials and building systems. Also, the Library has recently been awarded the Library of the Year by the Colorado Association of Libraries!

The Better Denver Bond Program

These improvements are part of the infrastructure package approved by voters in November 2007, (Ballot Issues B thru I) which also includes funding for parks, streets, public safety, cultural institutions and other important infrastructure needs. In all, over 200 projects are part of the $550 million bond package, and all projects will be completed within five years (end of 2012). See the complete list of other scheduled City bond projects.
