Rollin' with the Flow by Mark Chesnutt Add a review |
One of the few artists from the 90s who didn't sell out to country-pop, Mark Chesnutt brings us a fabulous traditional country album full of twang and honky-tonk. I love it!

Call Me Crazy by Lee Ann Womack Add a review |
If you like old country with whiny steel guitar, fiddles and great lyrics, you have to listen to Lee Ann Womack's Call me Crazy. Her vocals are superb and her songwriting skills are showcased with several songs she co-wrote. I'm so glad this very talented artist decided to go back to her "old country" roots. A++!

Sol-Angel and The Hadley St. Dreams by Solange Add a review |
Ok, maybe I have a thing for old time motown era music. It's hard for someone to hit the sound perfect. And Solange nails it. This music is way better than anything her big sis ever put out.

Planet of Ice by Minus the Bear Add a review |
This album is the latest release by Seattle, WA based indie rock group. MTB is an amazing band. This album only furthers their musical genius. This is one of the best musically complex albums that will keep you spinning this disc for hours upon hours.

Rockferry by Duffy Add a review |
Love this CD. Amy Winehouse now has some great competition. Very soulful. Feels very old school. I am listening to this cd over and over for the moment.

Across the Universe by Soundtrack Add a review |
If you loved the movie, the soundtrack is just as amazing! However, if you want a complete soundtrack, check out the 2-disk Deluxe edition.

Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love by Trisha Yearwood Add a review |
Although the album title is also the single that's putting Yearwood back in the charts, there are other great songs on the album. I love "Cowboys are my weakness" a fun cheeky song!

Sloe Gin by Joe Bonamassa Add a review |
Wow!! That's about all you can say about this album. It starts off heavy, and progresses through many different generas. Smokin' Joe has made his name as a Blues artist, but he'll keep it as an all around musician. This album is a mix of classic rock, guitar rock, acoustic blues, and all around good listening. If you want a bit of edge, its here; if you want something smooth, it's here; from the first track to the last, you're in for something special.

I'll Sleep When You're Dead by El-P Add a review |
There can be no doubt this is one of the best albums of 2007. El-P incorporates so many different styles and sounds and takes hip-hop to a higher plane. The production breaks from the typical and becomes a multi-layered wall of sound. Meanwhile his lyrics are cryptic and creative. Guests on the album include: The Mars Volta, Cat Power, Cage and Trent Reznor.
