The Play's the Thing

FCL Event

Cheaper, faster, more fun than Shakespeare!

In March of this year, stage director and producer, Brenda Cook Ritenour, launched OFF THE SHELF, a play-reading series designed to breathe life into plays that are produced rarely, if ever, in Denver. This month, Ritenour teams up with ArtSkool, (Fresh City Life's newest community event centered on the visual and performing arts of Denver) to bring you two exciting events!

If you haven't been to one of Monica's fun, informative, and tasty cooking demonstrations, this is your chance! If you've tried some of the recipes from her appetizers or soups class, you know you want more! Learn to create tasty Summer Salads that will keep your family happy and healthy on Wednesday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Smiely Branch.

The Game Night formerly known as WordNerds

Taboo

You say you're not a player? We think you are.

Fresh City Life has been presenting a monthly game night for a year or so; it's been perking along under the name WordNerds and drawing happy crowds to Mad Wine and Novo Coffee (our partners in this gathering for game players).

Salads & Mysteries!

Salads or mysteries? Either way, Fresh City Life My Branch has you covered this week!

Tired of iceberg lettuce and want to enliven your summer dinners? Join us for Summer Salads at the Ross-Cherry Creek Branch on Tuesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. or at the Smiley Branch on Wednesday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m. You'll learn how to introduce more vegetables into your diet with these creative salads. Your kids will love them, and they'll fill up even the hungriest eater in your family!
