A documentary film about the life and career of legendary Jamaican reggae artist Bob Marley. The film explores his life including his childhood and youth and his rise to international stardom, and includes rare footage and interviews with people who knew him best. Among those who talk about this social and political prophet are his mother, Cedella Marley; his wife, Rita Marley; Neville 'Bunny' Wailer (of the original Wailers); and Chris Blackwell, owner of Island Records. Directed by Kevin McDonald.
