Celebrate four of Hollywood’s greatest fashion designers with the films that are part of their legend and part of the ‘superstructure’ of their stars. Joan Crawford was known for her exaggerated shoulders; this was an innovation of MGM’s main designer, Adrian. Marlene Dietrich is inextricably linked with exotic costumes and exquisitely tailored men’s tuxedos; she was ably dressed by Paramount’s legendary Travis Banton. Edith Head helped to create Grace Kelly’s film ‘look’ and she is still remembered for her waspy, Vassar-girl glad rags in Rear Window.

“Produced by the team which made Food Matters, Hungry for Change makes its case quickly and simply, by utilizing people who walk-the-walk as well as talk-the-talk. The greatest strength of the film is the straightforward nature with which this information is delivered. What could be very dry and science-jargon-heavy is instead approached as one would a conversation. What makes Hungry for Change such a worthwhile endeavor is the sheer amount of motivation, information, and testimonials packed into the film. None of the topics are so overwhelming that the message is lost in translation.
