Back by popular demand. Chris ‘Citrus’ Sauthoff has performed several times at Central Library and his fan base grows with every visit. Experience the sitar and its ability to transport listeners. When George Harrison and The Beatles befriended Ravi Shankar, the sitar made its way from a traditional Indian instrument to a part of contemporary music. It is now heard in a wide range of musical genres including world and techno. ‘Citrus’ brings his signature style to the sitar – the soul of traditional Indian music.

Barlow’s music transports the listener across time and space on an imaginary journey to a rustic Irish fishing village, the misty Scottish Highlands or an enchanted English forest. Saturday Sessions- Paper Moon: Romantic Gems of the 1940s

Music and Dance
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Level 1 Schlessman Hall

We’ve captured a few strays from the band Stray Dogs; Joe Rigley, Eric Woods and Anne Rigley are teaming up to perform some of the nostalgic tunes of a bygone era. The thing is, these stray dogs are also hep cats – so all of their music, from whatever age it’s culled, happens to sound very ‘of the moment,’ too. Eric's extraordinarily gentle touch on the guitar alongside Joe's mellow bass backs Anne's remarkably sweet, pure and honest voice.
