We’ll have our button makers up and running for you to make a merry button and all of our cool yarn and crafting items will be discounted for your gift making and giving. Join us for beautiful holiday harp music and hot apple cider during our 2012 Holiday Open House!

Come visit us during open hours during the month of November and be sure to bring a non-perishable food item for our first Holiday Canned Food Drive. All items will be donated to Metro CareRing.

Celebrate Star Wars Reads Day at the Park Hill Branch Library and master the art of reading. This event will include crafts, giveaways, and fun for the whole family. Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character and be part of our all ages costume contests - judging will start at 3 p.m.

We are launching our first ever Pie Social, and Denver’s most social girl, Cora Vette is hosting and making great music, too. Come enjoy one of the great lost traditions of small town America: the pie social. Our friends at Whole Foods Market are bringin’ the pie, so you know it’s gonna be good eats. Pie is served at 2 p.m. and Cora Vette and the Vinyl Tops take the stage at 2:30 p.m. Fun for all ages! We’ll be meeting on the Acoma Plaza for this fun community event, and in the case of inclement weather, we’ll move to our B2 Conference Center. All free, but registration is encouraged.

Fresh City Life is pitching in to help our friends at Whole Foods Market Denver put on a big show. This street fair is a wonderful opportunity to "get out amongst 'em." Enjoy samples from over 20 local Colorado vendors, drink specials and live music by Casey Prestwood and the Burning Angels. Fresh City Life will be on hand with a fun booth of step up crafts – including a cool coaster to set your drink on! Co-sponsored by Denver Beer Co. Bring a canned food item to donate to Metro Care Ring and receive $1 off your first beer.

Fresh City Life specializes in the seriousness of frivolity; drop by and register to win aprons, book bags and T-shirts emblazoned with our Fresh City Life logo. You’ll want one of these goodies – they’re adorable. Our partner, Whole Foods Market, has lots of delicious nibbles for you to sample and they’ll be giving away several $50 gift cards. FCL's Craftinatrix Trish Tilly is cooking up some chic and easy button-making crafts. And we’ve even got a bit of carny midway fun for you!

"Rockin' Block Party" A Day of Retro Fun for the Whole Family! This year's event has a 1950s theme and will feature the Chuck Hughes Band and a classic musical set in the 50s. FREE! The Creating Your Community team from the Denver Public Library will be on hand to scan and chat with you about preserving your family treasures! *We can scan up to three items no larger than 8.5" x 11.7". A USB drive will be provided.

Join other 1st and 2nd graders as we discuss "The Absent Author" by Ron Roy. We will also eat hot fudge sundaes and make a craft! Registration is required. Please call 720-865-0240 to reserve your space.
