We need carbon dioxide to live. Plants use it to make oxygen. Carbon dioxide is all around us. In this assembly we will explore the main phases of carbon dioxide, dry ice and bubble/fizzy CO2 gas bubbles. We will experiment with dry ice, Alka- Seltzer, Mentos and Diet Coke, and make a lave lamp, a tower of changing colors, fog filled dry ice bubbles and more. Limited to 60 participants. This one hour program takes the audience on an eye opening and fascinating journey as it explores the mysterious lives of the various species of owls found here in Colorado. Throughout the program, audience members broaden their understanding of these reclusive yet remarkably successful raptors by participating in activities that focus on the awesome adaptations of owls.
