A Colorado native, Dean Fetzer has written four books, starting with Death in Amber, Death After Midnight and Book of the Dead. His most recent book, Dead Silent is the last book in the Jaared Sen Quartet and follows the formerly blind detective, Jaared Sen, from London to Edinburgh on the trail of an ancient mystery concerning the Council of the Seven. Dean will be reading from his new book Dead Silent and signing copies of all his books.

Join author, designer and indie publisher Dean Fetzer for a workshop designed to help you on the way to publishing the book you’ve been writing. Dean provides an overview of the self-publishing business and a selection of tips and tricks to help you develop an author platform and get your work noticed.

Surprisingly inspired by the guitar playing of Slash, Jon Sousa began rocking on the guitar at the age of 11. His musical journey soon took him to the extremes of rock and metal, but not before a radical left turn into the world of electronic dance music production. After moving to Colorado in 2003, Jon fell deeply in love with traditions of fingerstyle guitar.

The ultra portable, easy-to-learn cousin of knitting, our beginning crochet class is a great way to take up this retro hobby. Instructor Christa Rogers will share tips, techniques and her love of this fiber craft in this three-part workshop. And once you have the basics down, Christa will share a handful of great patterns for you to choose from for your first project. After completing this workshop, you’ll be ready to make accessories for yourself or for gifts. There is a $15 fee for Beginning Crochet; all materials provided for this workshop.

Sandra Wong and Greg Harris come together in a dynamic combination of nyckelharpa/fiddle and vibraphone/piano/ghanian gyil/world hand percussion to explore music from all corners of the globe, including their own compositions.
Reaching into their individual roots of Classical, African, Bluegrass, Jazz, Scandinavian, Middle-eastern, Old-time American music and more, their arrangements honor each tradition while moving into new, unchartered territory. Sandra and Greg create a musical playground for everyone (both musicians and listeners) to explore, play, stretch, and grow in a joyful space.
