Make Your Own Quartz CD Wall Clock

Decorate a blank CD with holographic materials, raised glow-in-dark paint & vinyl #'s. Once decorated, you will assemble the working parts of the clock! - battery holder, wall hanger & clock hands. Each teen will leave with a "working" CD Wall Clock that does function! (Not included: 1 small battery). For grades 6-12. Registration is required. Please call to reserve your space. Airbrushed T-Shirts

Fused Glass Peace Sign

Using pre-nipped glass of many colors you will create a glass fused peace sign. A template is used for sizing and shaping. After we investigate atoms, molecules, and polymers, we will explore the fun side of chemistry, doing some very visually exciting demonstrations that will amaze one and all. For the hands on portion of this program we all will make one of the coolest polymers around, “Glow Slime.” No registration is required.

This is a musical story about an Arctic tern named Flit who is blown off her 12,000 mile migration journey. To find her way back, she travels across the continents, meeting other migratory and sedentary animals. She also learns about the unique nature of each new friend, their uncertain relationships with the environment, and the importance of her missing family. Perfect for ages 3-9. No registration is required.
