Computer classes are back (and more)!

New Saturday hours at Central won't slow down the Community Technology Center!

DPL has new hours, and the Central Library will be open from 1 - 5 p.m. this Saturday; but there will still be a lot going on at the Community Technology Center!

MS WORD 2007 PART I: 2 - 4 p.m.

The CTC is offering a limited number of computer classes again!  Help us kick off the return of group lessons in our new classroom, and learn basic word processing skills using MS Word 2007.  Office 2007 has a whole new look, so this is a good class for beginners as well as those accustomed to using older versions.  Keyboard/mouse/internet skills required.  This is the first class in a series of three.  Location: Level 4, Large Computer Training Classroom. Check the schedule for more information. Remember classes are first come first served so arrive early!

TEEN GAMING: 1 - 4 p.m.  (LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE LEVEL 1 CHILDREN'S PAVILION)

Teens age 12-18 are invited to come hang out and sample the new gaming systems available at the CTC! Stop by any time between 1 and 4 p.m. to test your skills, challenge your friends, and just have fun! Refreshments will be provided.  Location: Level 1, Children's Pavilion. Check the Evolver website for more information.

20 MORE PUBLIC ACCESS PCs ARRIVE!

As public computers are being removed from Levels 2, 3 & 5 at the Central Library, new ones are filling up tables at the CTC.  This weekend the CTC will have 20 more PCs, equipped with Microsoft Office 2007 and internet access, available for public use!

Things keep changing on Level 4 -- come on up and see what's going on!

CTC computers are great. Maybe someone can speed up the computers at ford-warren someday. Thanks, though.

Wow! Great work everyone!!!
And isn't that just like the CTC? Doing TWICE the amount of stuff in HALF the time? Amazing.
