Going the distance!

So I started to watch this movie with the mind-set this would be yet another romantic comedy. But it turned out to go a little serious at times because anyone could actually be put into that type of situation and it's not very funny. I must say Justin Long has come a long way in his acting career. I couldn't really buy into his character in JEEPERS CREEPERS after I saw DODGEBALL. But his movie characters since then, in my opinion, have been good. I really enjoyed him in DRAG ME TO HELL and HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. I know, I know this blog started off with me stating why I liked GOING THE DISTANCE and kinda just turned into Justin Long. My point is, I did enjoy watching this movie. I have now come to the realization that I can't judge a movie by its cover just like I don't judge books by their covers. So watch it and enjoy!
