Golly Gee! Vintage Boardgames at WordNerds this Wednesday night!
the tables fill up with friends old and new pitting their vocabularies against each other.
This month, we have a special treat for gamers. We've paired up with the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys to bring you WordNerds: Vintage Edition, where you'll be able to play a whole slew of old games, dating as far back as the 1950s. The Museum will also be handing out free museum passes to all the winners- and if you haven't had a chance to visit the quaint house museum located at 1880 Gaylord Street, you've missed out. Chock-full of tiny things from olden times, it's quite the viewing pleasure.
Join us this Wednesday night from 5-8 p.m. at Novo Coffee/MadWine (across the Plaza from the silver Denver Art Museum building, between 12th and 13th by Acoma) to play games like:
Miss Popularity, Target: the Moon Space Game, Chaos, Psyche Paths, Conflict, Yacht Race, Peggity, Skipper: The Board Game, Zendominoes, Ad-Lib, Krypto, Clue (1963 version), The Winning Touch and Penetration, as well as the WordNerd favorites.
