John Winston Lennon was born on October 9, 1940. Although he is no longer with us, the music of John Lennon lives on. Inspiring singers and songwriters to this day, the world continues to mourn his loss 30 years later. Google is honoring the 70th anniversary of his birth with an animated homepage.
