New Classes! Social Security & Managing Your Finances Online

It's possible to do just about anything online these days, including applying for Social Security benefits and managing your personal finances.  Our community partners, the Social Security Administration and Denver Community Credit Union, will show you how in back-to-back classes this Thursday, June 2, at 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.

The Community Technology Center is pleased to welcome instructors from the Social Security Administration and Denver Community Credit Union, who will teach two new classes this coming Thursday, June 2.

Introduction to Social Security Online

Thursday, June 2, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Whether you're a caregiver, need to apply for your own benefits, or would just like to find out more about navigating the SSA's website, Introduction to Social Security Online is for you!  Join us and find out more about SSA's online services!  (No specific case related questions will be answered.)

Online Money Management

Thursday, June 2, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

If you would like to know more about how to use the internet to help you manage your finances, come to Online Money Management, presented by Denver Community Credit Union.  Learn how to choose the right account to get you to your financial goal, what the best online financial resources are, and how to protect yourself from unnecessary fees and overdrafts.

Come to one or both, free of charge!  Classes will be held at the Central Library in the Large Classroom on Level 4.
