Hi Harvey,
When you search the catalog there are icons at the top where you can limit to DVDs or other formats. The most relevant titles come up first, but you can sort by year for the most recent items. We know the site is slow and we are doing everything we can to resolve the issues. Thanks for your patience.
Two things I don't like about the new website--I can't see where I am on the queue list on items I have on hold anymore. Also, I no longer see any way to cancel any of my holds.
this site sucks i dont know were to look up for my holds and my account so i can see what do i have checked out and what holds do i have so please change it back to the old website
My Library Card has been replaced with My Account. The link to My Account is in the top navigation of every page. Click the My Account link and a Denver Public Library - Login box will pop up. Enter your DPL card number and last name, then you will have access to you account information. Hope this helps.
I like the new look and menus, BUT I'm not so happy with the "My Account" pop-up. I would still like to be able to see, for example, where I fall in the list of a held item. It seems like I have to re-enter my card number and last name frequently to be able to access my holds or list of checked out items and navigate from list to list. Also, I'm not sure how convenient the scrolling of an inset page versus scrolling the web browser page is.
So good I can't go back to the old site... Thanks for the upgrade.
Lots better than the old site. Still some kinks to work out.
Yar!!! Nice site!
