New website helps Spanish speakers find health insurance options

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services launched CuidadoDeSalud.gov, a Spanish-language version of Healthcare.gov to help Spanish speakers find health insurance options to meet their needs.

There are sections with information directed at specific demographic groups — families with children, individuals, people with disabilities, seniors, young adults, and employers — as well as a tool to help you find what is available in your state and what will work best for you depending on your particular situation. This tool leads you through simple questions and then clearly presents options that might work and provides further reading on the relevant details and how to proceed. The Denver Public Library Health website has additional resources to help you figure out your eligibility for benefits. Most of this information is available in English and Spanish.
