Hamburger America The Complete Hamburger Selling 'em by the Sack Super Size Me

If it was flipping burgers, then we've got just the book for you.

11 Years, 9 Months, and 5 Days

That’s how long Greg Tate worked at the “Burger Store” as a janitor. You decide if this spare 90-pager was a brilliant Kafkaesque tragedy of a young man’s struggle to survive his absurd situation or merely one guy’s hilarious, rambling account of the daily indignities he suffered at the hands of his manager and co-workers.
Exerpt: “There were times when I lost my temper really bad. There were times I went into purple face frenzies. A few people were surprised that I didn’t get fired, for losing my temper like I did. I told them ‘The Burger Store didn’t have the guts to fire me.’ I was one of their best workers ever.“

Cool...I did work one summer at Micky D's and can easily relate to all the many trials & tribulations one goes through while employed in a greasy spoon...thanks, Lisa--will check it out--sounds like a fun book, one to read in the shade, while enjoying a thick chocolate milkshake (I think I'll skip the burger!).
