This is a one-time basic course for the beginner, repeated each month. Attendees will be introduced to thinking genealogically through the exploration of the following:

Stacks of Paper: How to Organize
Home Sources, Paper, People
Pedigree Charts and Family Group Sheets
W5 - Be a Detective
Beginning Internet Sources
Six Major Record Groups

Attendees should dress comfortably. Consider bringing a seat cushion, bottled water, and a sack lunch (there will be a 30 minute lunch break).
