Lynne Ramsay: Ratcatcher, 1999
Starring William Eadie, Tommy Flanagan. A film that is as beautiful to look at (cinematography by Alwin Kuchler) as it is hard to watch. The Glasgow Council Flats are the backdrop for this coming of age story about a boy who lives in a reality of dwindling possibilities. 96 minutes. Not rated.
