Colorado Authors Series: Jenny Shank, The Ringer
Ms. Shank's novel The Ringer tells the story of Patricia Maestas, the wife of a Mexican immigrant killed by Denver police, and Ed O'Fallon, the officer who shot her husband, as their sons end up playing in the same competitive youth baseball league. The Ringer is a finalist for the 2010 Reading the West Book Award.
