Important Information
- Lab computers are available on a first-come-first-served basis. All computers have a two-hour time limit. While the Lab is open to anyone, we will give priority to customers doing job searching, sending resumes, and conducting academic research.
- The Library Lab is periodically used for instruction and class visits. The Lab will be temporarily closed during these times and a sign will be posted at the entrance.
- The hard drive on each computer will be deleted after each session so no information can be saved to the hard drive. Lab users are encouraged to bring a USB flash drive to save their information. You can also bring a floppy disk or a CD-R.
- Diskettes and CD-Rs can be purchased in the Library Lab for one dollar each.
- The Library is not responsible for any damage or loss of data that results from the use of the Library’s equipment or software.
- Printing is available for ten cents a page. There is no color printing. Customers are not allowed to bring their own paper, labels or envelopes for use in the laser printers.
- Customers are not allowed to load their own software onto Lab computers.
- Six Word processing computers (no Internet access) are also available outside the Lab for use during regular Library hours. A typewriter is also available for customer use.
- Library staff and volunteers may provide limited assistance but are not able to provide extensive training on the use of the computers or software. For more information on classes offered in these areas, please call 720-865-1351 or check the Library Events and Classes Calendar.
