Parking Options
A public parking garage is located at 65 W. 12th Avenue, bordered
by Broadway and Acoma Street and between 12th and 13th Avenue. It
is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The 12th Avenue entrance to the Cultural Center parking garage is now open. Access the garage from 12th Avenue, just west of Broadway. See garage rates below.
Parking garage rates for special events including Cinco de Mayo, People's Fair and Taste of Colorado are generally higher and require cash payment.
Several unattended lots are within a five-minute walk of the Library. Most
require payment in advance. Limited meter parking is also available. The meters closest to the Library, on Broadway, have a 1 hour limit and cost $1.00 each hour. The meters further south of the Library, those on Broadway, West 12th Avenue and Acoma Street, have a 5 hour limit and cost $1.00 each hour. Most meters are free on Sundays. Handicapped accessible parking is located directly
in front of the Library on 13th Avenue as well as in the parking garage
and the lots south of the Library.
Alternative transportation options include public transportation provided
by the Regional Transportation District
(RTD). The Library is located within short walking distance from the
Civic Center RTD station.
