Just in time for summer road trips: get some highway strategy from the guy who's been everywhere and done everything. Or at least he's giving the road a run for its money! Following on the distinctively hip heels of, Ramble: A Field Guide to the U.S.A., seasoned travel writer Eric Peterson kicks off his state-by-state series with the Centennial State's most quirky and intriguing attractions and highlights, as well as regaling us with stories of five first-person road trips. His travelogues offer more vicarious journeys through cities, towns and beyond, delivered with Peterson's openness to new experiences and self-deprecating humor.

In this fun lecture veteran music industry manager, consultant and author Mark Bliesener will share tips for songwriters and bands trying to succeed in today's changing Country Music scene. He'll also talk about how songwriters can compete in Nashville and discuss the basics of starting and keeping a band together as well as how to get gigs, record, promote, release your own disc and cost effectively take it on the road. Whether you've been playing for years or are just starting, Mark has information that can help save time and money as you travel the often rocky road to Nashville.

This program also features a performance by songwriter George Inai. Venerable London weekly Time Out described Inai's songwriting as "Western balladry recalling both Calexico and Chris Isaak." Influential music critic Michael Mee called Inai's debut disc This Foolish Music "a wondrous journey that's indescribably strange, captivating and completely unforgettable."

Rockmount Ranch Wear, a Denver institution, shows off their cowboy finery and some of their prized collection of Rockmount Ranch Wear memorabilia; at the same time, Liberty Boot Company displays a large collection of their famed boots that adorn the feet of celebrities and cowpokes alike. Don't miss this chance to see some of the finest Wild West gear in North America!
