Yahooligans!
Yahoo for kids, designed for ages 7 to 12. Sites are hand picked to be appropriate for children.

Ask for Kids
Type in a question, you'll be pointed to a Web page that provides an answer. Answers have been evaluated for appropriateness.

By default, the Offensive Content Reduction filter is ON. The Offensive Content Reduction filter reduces the amount of offensive material displayed in the search results.

Google Safe Search
To activate SafeSearch, select Preferences, go to SafeSearch and select Use strict filtering to filter both explicit text and explicit images.

Alta Vista Family Filter
To activate Family Filter, select Settings, then Family Filter and choose All. AltaVista Family Filter uses the SurfWatch filter, which blocks sites and pages containing content related to drugs, alcohol or tobacco; gambling; hate speech; and sexual explicitness.
