Review

Bad Behavior is a collection of unlinked short stories, most taking place in New York City, that focuses on the relationships (usually sexual) between men and women.  Many of the stories are populated by the same types of women -- prostitutes, drug users, artists -- and tended to blend together in my reading.  A few of the stories were memorable and stood out to me, especially Secretary, which inspired the film of the same name, and the last story, Heaven, which as a refreshing change of pace was considerably more domestic than the others.  Overall I felt this was a fairly uneven and forgettable collection.
