23 year-old Katherine Shea is a wanderer. Supremely manipulative and charmingly sociopathic, she ingratiates herself to a series of men, young and old, then takes off whenever the mood strikes. Returning to the US from Italy, she jaunts from Manhattan to Maine to Mexico and back, leaving a trail of bodies in her wake. Woven throughout with art history and cannibalistic case studies, this fast-moving, entertaining novel will leave you horrifically amused.
