Review

In this late in the series Spenser we get a peek at Spenser as a young adult. Framed by an afternoon in the park with Susan who "knows him so well but knows nothing about him" (shouldnt quote as that's a paraphrase), Spenser tells her some stories as they while away the afternoon. Parker presents a series of lessons that Spenser learned during the year when he was 14 and how these pivotal moments informed the man he grew into.Short and sweet.
