Review

Staight-A-designer-clothes good girl Rachel (with numerous overprotective brothers) and tattooed foster kid Isaiah. Classic YA pairing, right? But McGarry makes it interesting--Rachel has mad anxiety issues and is in love with speed and her Mustang GT, and Isaiah is just the sweetest bad boy of all time. Their love story (which begins at an illegal street race) is adorable and kind of unexpectedly pure for the genre. I would’ve wanted a little more tension with her family, but the lack of it didn’t really detract  from the story. The stakes are high, the characters (main and supporting) likable, and the world fascinating. This book made me want to race, and I don’t even drive.
