I picked up this book on a whim and was impressed at how thorough it is. It lists, in alphabetical order, all products for almost all beauty brands. It gives a small description of what the product was advertised to do, how the product/makeup actually performed, and gives each a ranking based on effectiveness (best, average or poor). My overall favorite part though, was at the end, in a small "Best" section. The book lists all the "Best" products and makeup items, everything from the best mascara to the best skin lighteners. If you are a products junkie, like me, you will definitely enjoy finding new products to try, and maybe even flip through and see how your makeup and products rank on the scale of poor to best.
