Review

Written in a cabin in a Wisconsin forest, this album evokes the introspective and isolated landscape one would expect from such an environment. Strong songwriting and a well utilized vocal range give each song a slightly different feel, but is extremely cohesive as a whole. Listening to it reminded me of the first time I heard Iron & Wine's Creek Drank the Cradle, unpolished but it wouldn't sound quite right any other way.
