Review

Over the years, I've definitely heard a lot of hype about David Levithan's books. Then he went ahead and co-authored Will Grayson, Will Grayson with John Green, of whom I'm a huge fan. You might have heard of him. He's the author of the bestselling and soon-to-be-made-into-a-movie The Fault in Our Stars. Still, I'd never gotten around to reading Levithan until now.

I think what endeared Every Day to me the most was how compassionately Levithan dealt with people from all walks of life in his writing. He was able to have enough insight into each of his unique characters to see beyond judgement and delve deep enough to give them value. The writing was not so sophisticated as to make it a challenge and certainly embraced diversity. A great read with an unexpected (and happy) *slight spoiler alert* ending.
