Review

I like Andrew Bird, but to be honest, I've been a bit ambivalent to his most recent albums.  They're good but they don't have distinctness from one to another.  This EP thankfully shook me out of this rut with its infusion of country sounds both original and adaptations, trading his violin for fiddle tunes.  His cover of Townes Van Zandt's If I Needed You is not to be missed.
