Review

After really enjoying the first three Harry Potter books, I got a little burned out after Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire -- ugh, so much Quidditch!! -- and had kind of given up on the series.  I recently picked up The Order of the Phoenix to see if I could get back into it, and I'm so glad I did.  While the Dursley schtick at the beginning of the book is still tiresome, the story picks up steam once we get back to Hogwarts.  The Order of the Phoenix continues some of the darker themes introduced at the end of book 4, gives us new insight into some of the regular characters, and shows Harry and his friends maturing (and growing surlier!).  Plus, Quidditch takes a backseat in this installment, hooray!  I'm looking forward to book 6.
