Review

Many things have been said about Bright Eye's leader and songwriter Conor Oberst being a prodigy and the "next Dylan." Intrigued, but not completely impressed with his previous effort, Lifted..., my mind has completely changed with I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning. It sounds a bit like something you'd hear from Ryan Adams, although consistent and well crafted all the way through. Great harmonies with Emmylou Harris only sweeten the deal. Fans of Wilco should like this one.
