The biggest problem with this graphic novel is it's unevenness. The first story arc is good with John Constantine gaining the help of Papa Midnight to stop a hunger demon that possesses people and causes them to gorge themselves while still starving to death. Then there is a stand alone issue about stock broker demons driving up the price of souls, which was kind of lack luster. The last story arc which is pretty good other than an anticlimactic ending starts with John saving his niece from the member of a cult called the Damnation Army, and investigating them. Dealing with the enemy of the the Army called the Resurrection Crusade, trying to save a friend from the crusaders. All this rolls into a two issue story arc of Swamp Thing that was very boring.
